YEREVAN, JANUARY 24, ARMENPRESS: The hot events of the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani contact line have become the continuation of Azerbaijan’s activities in the diplomatic front, according to Yervand Bozoyan, political scientist. He said today in an interview with Armenpress that in this way Azerbaijan tends to show to the international community that it is dissatisfied with the process of talks within the framework of the OSCE Minsk group.
The political scientist says Azerbaijan’s efforts to move the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh issue from the OSCE to UN is directed to this goal.
‘It is gratifying that the Armenian side gives proper responses to Azerbaijan’s instigating policy. The RA President’s decision not to partake in the NATO summit in Lisbon, and the military drill, conducted in the NK, are among those responses,’ Yervand Bozoyan said.
As to the Moscow meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, the political scientist noted that such meetings are greeted, as they slacken the tension between the parties.
