YEREVAN, JANUARY 24, ARMENPRESS: It is difficult to expect any drastic progress or changes in the Karabakh conflict settlement process, political analyst, vice director of the Caucasian Media Institute Sergey Minasyan told Armenpress referring to the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia today in Moscow. According to him, the current round of negotiations is passing in a rather complicated way as there is lack of trust between the parties.
Referring to the tension notable in the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani line of contact, the political analyst said that the Azerbaijani side shows that as if it is ready for war but the further sharpening of the situation will not promote the positive outcome of the negotiation process.
“Any self-respecting head of state after so many speculations would have started war but Ilham Aliyev is not doing it which reduces the possibilities of usage of military blackmailing of Azerbaijan,” Minasyan said.
