Next Misinformation on NKR Defense Army by Propaganda Machine of Baku

STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS: Since early morning on December 20 the Azerbaijani party has shot the Artsakhi front posts 50 times from its military posts, located in the southeastern, eastern and northeastern parts of the contact line of the Artsakhi-Azerbaijani forces. The propaganda machine of Baku not only tried to put the blame on the Armenian party, but also spread some information, according to which the Artsakhi units, located in the direction of the village of Talish, used artillery during the break of ceasefire regime at 9:15 p.m. December 17.

Senor Hasratyan, head of the NKR Defense Army’s press service, told Armenpress that the above-mentioned information does not correspond to the reality. ‘This is the next misinformation of the Azerbaijani propaganda and it is just aimed at presenting the NKR Defense Army as an aggressor before the international community,’ Senor Hasratyan said. He added that the NKR Defense Army’s front units always honor the ceasefire regime.

As to the blast, registered near the village of Borsunlu of Tartar Region, Senor Hasratyan said the information of the NKR Defense Army spy service proved that it was a result of an emergency situation in one of the military bases near the border with Azerbaijan.
