YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS: The process of negotiation over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is not in a deadlock, political analyst Alexander Margarov said, adding that opportunities still exist for moving forward toward peaceful settlement of the conflict. In his opinion, as far as neither of the sides has stated about coming out of the process and passing to the military actions it may be registered that the process is in a deadlock.
Speaking about the role of mediators in the process, the political analyst noted that they are not called to reach result by exerting pressure on the parties. “Here it must be spoken not about pressures but about finding acceptable decision,” the speaker said.
