YEREVAN, DECEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: Azerbaijan’s hopes, connected with the summit of Astana, were not justified, according to Yervand Bozoyan, political scientist. He said today in an interview with Armenpress that the summit of Astana will not have any dangerous consequence for Armenia. Speaking on the joint statement by the OSCE Minsk-group co-chairing states, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Yervand Bozoyan said the statement is the logical continuation of the statements of L’Aquila and Moscow.
‘During the last two-three years Azerbaijan has been just insolent in its manner by its rude position, and the RA President’s address, noted for its strong emphases, was a proper response,’ the political scientist said. As to the fact that Azerbaijan did not partake in the three-sided meeting, Yervand Bozoyan said it is connected with some subjective factors. He added that after some publications by ‘Wikileaks’, one would not expect Aliev to partake in the meeting.
