Davit Harutyunyan says Armenia will work as planned if a committee on NK affairs is set up in PACE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: If a subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh is set up in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), then the Armenian delegation will work as planned, Head of the Armenian delegation to PACE Davit Harutyunyan, said today at a press conference, referring to the statement of Chairman of PACE Mevlut Chavushoglu, according to which they attach importance to establishment of subcommittee on NK issue in PACE. According to Mr. Harutyunyan, Armenia considers this step wrong and our country has not changed its position on it.

“The establishment of the sub-committee is senseless, about which it has been uninterruptedly mentioned in PACE. Despite that, I cannot exclude, that if the Bureau of the Assembly and not Mr. Chavushoglu, nevertheless, sets up such a committee, we know what will do ,” Mr. Harutyunyan assured, refusing to reveal the strategy of the Armenian delegation.
