Andranik Khachatryan: the NKR exceeds certain CIS countries in the cadastre sphere

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS: The chairman of the NKR government-affiliated State Cadastre Committee Andranik Khachatryan participated in early October within the Armenian delegation at the “Geodesy, Mapping, Cadastre and Country’s long-range Funding” 30th inter-state CIS session held in Moscow.

Mr Khachatryan told Armenpress that at the conference it became clear that the NKR exceeds certain CIS countries in the cadastre sphere. According to him, the “State Registration of Rights” sample carried out in Artsakh is being done there during three days and in a number of CIS countries in 30-40 days and through complicated mechanisms. Within the framework of the conference an exhibition was conducted during which the Armenian delegation presented the Russian variant of the NKR atlas. “Using the opportunity I presented to the heads of all participant delegations the NKR atlas, including to the head of the Azerbaijani delegation, who was the head of that country’s state cadastre committee. First he took it but afterwards returned, saying that it is written the NKR on the atlas, as if it should have been written something else on it,” Mr Khachatryan said.

Delegations of Abkhazia and South Ossetia applied to get acquainted with the experience of the state cadastre committee of NKR, expressing wish to soon visit Artsakh.
