By the end of the year about 100 employees of museums of Armenia to be trained

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS: By the end of the year about 100 employees of museums of Armenia will be trained. Press officer of the Armenian Culture Ministry Gayane Durgaryan said that training classes have already been held for 16 employees with the participation of students of the State Teacher’s Training University’s majoring in museum sciences faculty. Mrs Durgaryan said that involving students in such training works is very important, after graduating the university they will work in museums as already ready specialists. Mrs Duragryan said that there are employees who had their training in Kazan, Minsk and Warsaw.

From April of the running year registration and preservation order of the museum subjects have been applied and connected with it in November and December 15-day trainings will be conducted in each of which 25 museum employees will take part. The ministry official said all the works directed for training of museum employees are being carried out within the framework of “Preparation of Staff of the Cultural Sphere, Training and Re-qualification Complex” program.

Training classes are also intended for library officials, they will be trained in 2011.
