Eduard Sharmazanov: Azerbaijani authorities continue “raising” Ramil Safarovs in their country

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: Azerbaijan shows that it still works with feudal methods, secretary of the Armenian Republican party Eduard Sharmazanov expressed such an opinion speaking to Armenpress, adding that the behavior of the Azerbaijani authorities toward Manvel Saribekyan shows that they continue the actions the basis of which was put with the Armenian pogroms in Sumgait and Baku.
“Like it is said the Azerbaijani authorities have forgotten nothing and learnt nothing as they continue “raising” Ramil Safarovs in their country,” the NA parliamentarian pointed out adding that this case once again shows the real face of Azerbaijan.
“I would not like to give assessment to the activity of international organizations in this issue but I find that they should have adopted stricter position,” Sharmazanov said, adding that it would have been right in this situation to apply strict sanctions against Azerbaijan for violation of a number of international documents and agreements. According to him, for already many times it shows that its disability to conduct civilized negotiations as this country still preserves its terrorism description.
Referring to the regional visit of the OSCE Minsk group, Eduard Sharmazanov noted that it is mainly visit of informative nature. “I unequivocally agree with the Karabakh partners who present demand to implement field mission in the territories occupied by Azerbaijan too,” the NA parliamentarian pointed out, adding that the 15% of the NK territory – Shahumyan, Getashen, Martunashen and other settlements are controlled today by the Azerbaijani occupant troops.
