Gregory Ayvazyan has no doubt in his triumph in elections of Mejlis

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS: We are ready to accept the challenge of Azerbaijan: if that country provides written official guarantees of security, the representatives of the Azerbaijani-Armenian community will be presented at the elections of the Mejlis, Gregory Ayvazyan, chairman of the Assembly of Azerbaijani-Armenians said today at a meeting with journalists referring to the viewpoint of Chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Electoral Commission Muzafir Panakhov expressed in an interview with “APA” news agency, according to which the representatives of the Azerbaijani-Armenian community can participate in the elections of Mejlis.

“We have submitted a written official application for participation and expect not an oral, but an official written answer,” Mr. Ayvazyan said, noting that by endangering their life they are ready to go to Azerbaijan.

According to the chairman of the assembly, the most important at the moment is admitting of applications; in that case he has no doubt in triumph, for he has one million Azerbaijan-Armenian electors.
