Oath ceremony of students of Military Aviation Institute after Marshal Armenak Khanperyants held

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS: The oath solemn ceremony of the newly-admitted students of the Military-Aviation Institute after Marshal Armenak Khanperyants took place today in the neighboring surrounding of Vardan Mamikonyan Statue, Yerevan.
The future officers vowed to highly honor the Armenian army, to defend and strengthen Armenia’s security. Head of the Institute, Colonel Daniel Balayan, congratulating the students of the military establishment on the oath ceremony, promised to create all the necessary conditions to make them acquainted with all the details of the military-aviation sphere. “We educate high-class officers and hope that you will continue the traditions of our institute, becoming the devoted fighters of our army,” he said. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said that it is symbolic that the oath ceremony has coincided with the eve of the 19th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.
The head of the Armenian defense department expressed confidence that finishing the military education these students will replenish the officer staff of the Armenian army. “It is obliging that the ceremony is taking place next to the statue of Vardan Mamikonyan, who is the incarnation and bearer of patriotic strivings of Armenian people,” he said. According to the Armenian Defense Minister, the current geographical-political challenges, including the delay of the fair solution of the NK conflict and the Azerbaijani war rhetoric prompt to constantly develop and improve the achievements of the defense system.
Seyran Ohanyan said that our army has always been and will continue to be in the center of attention of the state, and hereafter that attention will be even greater. He expressed confidence that the Armenian army is ready to confront any challenge. RA armed forces will continue to remain one of the most developed armies of the world, will continue to get improved and strengthened through every day education, keeping pace with the requirements of 21st century army.
