YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS: The opposition has opportunities to voice its viewpoints, member of the NA Armenian Republican Party Mkrtich Minasyan told Armenpress, referring to the upcoming rally of the opposition. He noted that the opposition has been given an opportunity not only to organize a rally, but to conduct a march as well. “In the recent years the opposition has mainly claimed the neighboring territory of Matenadaran for conduction of rallies, the opportunity of which has been afforded” Mr. Minasyan said.
The opposition has also got what it has asked for a march – a territory is being prepared for it. “Currently the opposition uses every occasion to clutch at anything and to distract public attention from important things,” Mr. Minasyan said, adding that a rally is for expression of thoughts and ideas, and an opportunity of voicing those ideas is given. “All the opportunities necessary for expressing complaint in a civilized world have been given,” the NA member said, adding that the opposition has nothing to say and tries to condition its failure by the site.
“It is natural that there are social discontents, there is also a part of society, which, connected with the financial and economic crisis, is dissatisfied, and the opposition tries to use that part of society for reaching its personal goals and meeting its ambitions,” Mr. Minasyan said.
