Tigran Balayan, “The leadership deliberately deceives Mr. Azimov, in order he continues to mislead his country’s public opinion with greater confidence”

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS: “A number of statements have been adopted in the recent years on the level of presidents and foreign ministers of the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk group and of foreign ministers of the OSCE member countries, where the main issue of the negotiation process is mentioned quite clearly, from which Azerbaijan tries to distract the attention of the international community, it is – the issue of the status of the NK, which must be determined through expression of will of the NKR population,” Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tigran Balayan said, commenting on yesterday’s s statements of Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov on the negotiation process.

Press service of the Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry told Armenpress that Tigran Balayan also noted that Araz Azimov has never participated in the general meetings on the issue of the Karabakh conflict regulation and knows about the content of the negotiations only through listening.

“It is evident that the authority deliberately deceives Mr. Azimov, in order he continues to mislead his country’s public opinion with greater confidence,” Mr. Balayan said.
