Karen Avagyan says CSTO unofficial summit is one more opportunity to voice the positions of Armenia

YEREVAN, AUGUST 18, ARMENPRESS: The two-day unofficial summit of the heads of the member-countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) kicking off August 20 in Yerevan is one more opportunity to voice all the positions which Armenia presents in different chairs, member of the Armenian National Assembly, head of the youth organization of the Armenian Republican Party Karen Avagyan said. “Regional issues connected with the Nagorno Karabakh and Armenian-Turkish relations are of greater interest to us,” he said.
K. Avagyan said that during the visit turning developments and changes will not take place, but certain changes will be indicated for sure, “It is one thing to get acquainted with issues, about which it is spoken, and another - just listening about them,” K. Avagyan said adding that the summit will give an opportunity to closely get accounted with all the issues, about which Armenia voices.
Speaking of the possible sale of C-300 anti-air defense systems to Azerbaijan by Russia, K. Avagyan noted that they are just statements, which have certain political contexts.
