YEREVAN, JULY 2, ARMENPRESS: Making warlike statements, the Azerbaijani authorities reach a deadlock, Konstantin Zatulin, deputy of the Russian State Duma, chairman of the committee on foreign relations of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO), said at today’s meeting with journalists. He mentioned that in the process of regulation of the NK conflict military activities will not start.

‘I think the dynasty of the Alievs will not expose the fortune of Azerbaijan and the dynasty to danger. The war can finish in various ways. One should be very purposeful before starting activities, the result of which is the uncertainty. People in Azerbaijan realize this,’ Mr. Zatulin said. As to resolutions on the NKR conflict and preservation of Armenian monuments, adopted during the 17th annual summit, he mentioned that the second resolution reflects their anxiety about the Armenian monuments.

He also mentioned that the resolution says the warlike statements of Azerbiajan are not welcomed. As to the visit of the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, he said Hillary Clinton visits the region for making clear whether some progress is possible in the NK issue or not.
