YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS: During the 10 year activity of “Armenal” factory over 100 million USD has been put into production.
Press Secretary of the company Alexander Melkumyan told Armenpress that the product of the factory is exported to the international market in 100 %. The enterprise is one of the largest in the region, the only producer of foil in Caucasus and Central Asia, the product of which is currently realized in the markets of the Near East, Europe, Africa and Northern America.
A. Melkonyan said that in the conditions of the global economic crisis the factory has not suffered, moreover, it has continued to work, registering growth of indexes; this year over 40 % growth has been registered against the June and May of 2009. The factory is in normal conditions in regard to engineering, too. Currently the number of the employees exceeds the 700; the average salary is 240 thousand AMD.
