YEREVAN, MAY 12, ARMENPRESS: ‘We welcome the fact the European Union adopted the negotiating directives for the Association Agreement with Armenia. This will create a new way for holding dialogues on establishment of new-quality relations between Armenia and the European Union,’ RA Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandyan commented about the May 10 decision by the General Affairs Council on adoption of the negotiating directives for the future Association Agreements between the EU and Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Edward Nalbandyan underscored that the contacts between Brussels and Yerevan will become more active and said ‘we will have more intensive negotiations with the Euro Union’. ‘It is a piece of good new: President of Armenia is going to visit Brussels and this will give an opportunity to hold more efficient consultations with the Euro Union,’ RA Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandyan said.
