YEREVAN, APRIL 21, ARMENPRESS: The 5.5% GDP growth in the first quarter of the running year unequivocally shows that the anti-crisis policy of the government is proceeding effectively and in case of maintenance of the existing tendencies the pre-crisis income rate will be restored earlier than expected, PhD in Economic Science Arman Gabrielyan said. According to him, in parallel with the 10.1 % growth of the industrial products, the 60.9% of the increase of export is also being highlighted.
He said the favorable macro-environment gives the government an opportunity to more successively carry out the systematic reforms directed toward the long-lasting economic growth. “In the pre-context of reforms the anti-monopoly policy, drastic change of the education system and input of administrative system without corruption are particularly being highlighted,” he said.
