G. Harutyunyan says the possibility of war on the way of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement is very small

YEREVAN, APRIL 16, ARMENPRESS: On the way of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement the possibility of a war is very small, Director of “Noravank” scientific-educational foundation Gagik Harutyunyan said today at a meeting with journalists. According to him, the frequent reference to the war in the recent period is conditioned by the war rhetoric of Azerbaijan.

“The possibility of starting military actions is very small and its guarantee is our military forces,” G. Harutyunyan said. According to him, the war does not stem from the profits of the super powers of the world.

Referring to regulation process of Armenian-Turkish relations, G. Harutyunyan noted that Armenian President’s Washington meetings opened a new stage in that process. “In this stage Armenia is in a more favorable state than Turkey. In the circle of the international community Armenia manifests itself as a trustful partner,” the speaker said.
