H. Demoyan says the war will restart only in case I. Aliyev feels that he loses the political trust in his own country

YEREVAN, MARCH 25, ARMENPRESS: “Before restarting the war Aliyev must understand that his army has been educated by the armed forces of Turkey, which can implement a change of authority in the own country at any moment. Hence, in that short-term war, both in case of victory and defeat Aliyev can be dismissed from the office by the defeated generals or the generals who have taken a victory. This prospect must excite Aliyev,” Hayk Demoyan, director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences said at today’s press conference. According to him, the war will restart only in case Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev feels that he loses the political trust in his own country.

According to H. Demoyan, at any moment Azerbaijan can restart a war, but it cannot be long-term, as the international community will intervene, like in case of the five-day war of Georgia and Russia.
