“ARMENAL” produced foil of over 20 thousand tones for the first time

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS: In the first half of December “ARMENAL” foil-rolling factory has for the first time over the year produced and realized the sale of a foil of over 20 thousand tons, which exceeds the same index of the last year almost twice. An official from “RUSAL” joint venture told Armenpress that in the mentioned period the work efficiency has essentially increased in the factory, the product intended for one person per month has grown twice. We have managed to reach to good result thanks to the full mastery of modernized equipments, as well as thanks to the improvement of professional skills of the staff”, Director of the packaging division Alexander Burdin said. The investment of normative-technological cards notably increased the technological discipline. Since January of 2009 the factory has made out about 1500 exporting orders, has mastered the production of super-fine foils intended for the further decoration. After the improvement of the structure of knives, the release of fine foil of 40-50 meters and having a great demand in the global market has been regulated. “ARMENAL” has been founded in Yerevan in 2000 on the basis of Kanaker aluminum factory. It is one of the largest manufacturing enterprises of Armenia, and the only producer of foil in the Central Asia. It has been affiliated to “RUSAL” in 2000, and it comprises the company’s packaging division together with “Uralskaya Folga” and “Sayanskaya Folga” enterprises. “RUSAL” is a global leading company in the sphere of aluminum, the product of which is exported to about 70 countries of the world. The company dominates about 11 % of the global aluminum market and 13 % of the earthenware.
