YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS:The participants of “Eurovision 2009” international children’s song contest will start the rehearsals for concert preparation from November 16. Consultant to Public Television on special projects Diana Mnatsakanyan told Armenpress that till the contest, after the daily rehearsals the participants will take part in different events. Armenian delegation will leave for Kiev November 15. The head of the delegation is Diana Mnatsakanyan, singer Nadezhda Sargsyan, Art Director Artyom Gevorgyan are involved in the staff. The contest will be held November 21 in Kiev, where 6 500 people will be present. Laura Hayrapetyan representing Armenia at international children’s song contest “Eurovision 2009” will come forward with “Barcelona” song. Representatives of 13 countries (Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine, Cyprus, Macedonia, Malta, Rumania, Serbia, Holland, Sweden and Belgium) will participate in the contest. For the first `time` “Eurovision 2009” international children’s song contest has been conducted in Danish capital Copenhagen with the participation of representatives of 15 European countries. Armenia has participated for the first `time` in 2007, when the students of “Arevik” junior ensemble performed “Kind Fairy of Dreams” song occupying the second place. In 2008 13-year old Monika Mnucharova represented Armenia with the song “The Sound of My Song” occupying the 8th place.
