“Green Alternative” eco-expo kicked off in Yerevan

According to head of media and information department of the festival Ani Yeghiazaryan, 50-100 sorts of animals and plants are endangered per day because of the transforming natural environment and human impact. “Many do not know these dreadful facts, and only the part of the informed people take responsibility for the future, which can be devastating in case of not undertaking relevant measures”, she said. The goal of the expo is to encourage especially the young segment of society to take part in the solution of the urgent issues on nature protection and to pass to eco-lifestyle.
