YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS:Twelve cases of trafficking have been registered during the nine months of the running year against the 8 registered in the same period of the past year. Head of the department of fighting against organized crime Hunan Poghosyan said today that five of the revealed cases were from Armenia to Turkey, 2 from Armenia to the United Arab Emirates and Russia, one from Russia to Armenia and two in the territory of Armenia. Forty five people became the victims of trafficking. H. Poghosyan said that 16 of the revealed 45 victims have been sent to the NGOs to receive assistance. Four people have been convicted.
