Javier Solana says EU is ready to undertake necessary steps for the positive development of Karabakh conflict regulation process

BAKU, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS:High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, Secretary- General of the Council of the European Union Javier Solana stated yesterday at the meeting with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammedyarov that EU is ready to undertake necessary steps for the positive development of Karabakh conflict regulation process. During the meeting the sides also discussed issues on cooperation between EU and Azerbaijan, regional issues and Karabakh conflict regulation process. Solana pointed out that for the settlement of the conflict it is necessary to preserve the dynamics in the negotiations and said that EU is ready to support in the process.
