Regular session of CIS Council of Permanent Authorized Representatives to be held in Minsk

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 26, ARMENPRESS:The regular session of CIS Council of Permanent Authorized Representatives will be held October 27 in Minsk. Press service of CIS Executive Committee told Armenpress that the participants of the session will discuss the implementation process of the decision on improving the activity of CIS branch cooperation bodies adopted November 14, 2008 at the session of CIS Council of Heads of States. At that `time` the heads of states recommended CIS bodies of branch cooperation to focus all the efforts on the fulfillment of those tasks, which are defined by the concept on CIS further development, by the program on the main measures of its implementation, as well as by CIS economic development strategy within the period till 2020. The decision also contains a task on setting up a CIS branch development body in scientific-technical and innovative spheres, as well as on improving the practice quality of the reports of branch cooperation bodies at the sessions of CIS supreme bodies. A great attention will be paid to the results of the sessions of CIS Councils of Foreign Ministers and Heads of States held this year October in Kishinev. The members of the Council of Permanent Authorized Representatives will discuss issues on the implementation of the decisions adopted in the capital of Moldova.
