EVENTS DEDICATED TO THE 18-TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA HELD IN BELARUS AND ROMANIA

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS:The concert of the symphonic orchestra of the Belarusian National State TV and Radio Company dedicated to the 18-th anniversary of the independence of the Armenian Republic was held on September 18 with the support of the Armenian Embassy in Minsk. Public relations department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told Armenpress that on September 19 in the Belarusian national press center the press conference of the Armenian Ambassador to Belarus Oleg Yesayan was held. In his opening speech RA Ambassador presented the way Armenia has passed in the 18 years of its independence, the inner-political developments of the country, the economic conditions, the friendly atmosphere established in Armenian-Belarusian relations, as well as the current volumes of bilateral trade-economic cooperation and the prerequisites of their growth. On the same day a ceremonial evening dedicated to the 18-th anniversary of the independence of Armenia was held at the House of Friendship with Foreign Countries collaboratively by the Belarusian company of friendship and cultural ties with foreign countries, Minsk’s urban cultural-educative company ‘’Armenia” and RA Embassy. At the evening RA Ambassador Oleg Yesayan delivered a speech. Belarusian prominent art figures, heads of Belarusian-Armenian community organizations and RA Embassy diplomats were among the guests of the meeting. The 18-th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia has been celebrated in Romania as well. RA Embassy organized a reception in Bucharest’s diplomatic club with the participation of State Secretary for Romanian Foreign Ministry Bogdan Mazuru, parliament members, heads of diplomatic missions and representations of international organizations. RA Ambassador Yegishe Sargsyan’s articles devoted to Armenia have been issued in Romanian mass media on the occasion of the festival.
