YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:Days of European heritage to be organized September 19-20 in the republic which will this year be held under the Milky Way slogan. Armenian Deputy Culture Minister Arev Samvelian told today journalists that this is already the fourth year the Days of European heritage in Armenia are held within the frameworks of which different events will be organized. A new exhibition will be organized in the Armenian History museum under the “Space Symbols” slogan. A music evening will be held in the A. Khachatrian’s museum during which the “Birth of Vahagn” violin concert will sound. Hovh. Toumanian’s museum will organize “Trip to the favorite places of the poet” pilgrimage to Dsegh village, and in the “Erebuni” historical- archeological reserve-museum the “Monuments of Historical Armenia” photos will be exhibited. An exhibition of archeological materials of the 1 era B.C. will open in the Yerevan history museum. The most prominent event within the frameworks of the European Days will be the pilgrimage from Yerevan to the “Dzorats Karer” settlement in Syunik province which is known with “Karahung” name. Here the “Karin” ethnographic song and dance ensemble will perform after which in the Sisian history museum after Adonts “Our celebrants” exhibition will open. At the same place “Bread Holiday” traditional event will be held. The organized events are nearly concurrent and aim to more involve Yerevan and province residents in the cultural events. Each year the events have different slogans; this year’s agenda has a rather interesting slogan and program,” the Deputy Minister said. 49 member states of the European Cultural Agreement partake in the events of Days of European Heritage.
