SESSION OF THE WORKING GROUP OF COUNCIL OF HEADS OF CIS MIGRATION BODIES TO BE HELD IN MINSK

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:Session of the working group for preparation of proposals on creation of a system of information exchange between the CIS migration bodies and applying of statistic indexes in the migration sphere will take place September 21-22 in Minsk. The working group is subordinated to the CIS Council of Heads of Migration bodies. Press service of CIS executive committee told Armenpress that draft of main statistic indexes is ready and is mainly agreed. During the upcoming session the draft document will be amended taking into account the comments and proposals got from the CIS member states. Besides that the members of the working group will discuss the texts of the protocol on exchange of information between the CIS migration bodies and their supplements. On the draft document within the frameworks of set period an exchange of information is intended for realization of bilateral and multilateral agreements in the migration sphere between the states of the Commonwealth as well as for increasing the efficiency of regulation of migration flows. During the session the draft of general principals and mechanisms of organized involvement of working migrants for implementation of labor activity in the CIS member states will also be discussed during the session. The principals and mechanisms must contribute to the mutual cooperation in establishment and development of a general economic space of CIS states, providing of an equal attitude towards the working migrants and the members of their families in the territory of concerned states as well as implementation of the replacement of the manpower through the territory of the states taking into account their national interests and international rights. Working out of the mechanism of organized involvement of working migrants will create conditions for regulation of working migration flows as well as to measure the correspondence of their volumes, directions and staff to the interests of socio-economic development of the state.
