ASPHALTING WORKS OF 982 000 SQUARE METERS OF ROADS AND YARDS IMPLEMENTED IN YEREVAN DURING THIS YEAR

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:Asphalting works of 982 000 square meters of roads and yards have been implemented in Yerevan during the current year. Public relations department of the Yerevan municipality told Armenpress that already 193 000 meter of gap filling works have been conducted. At present the reconstruction works of the streets are finished, only gap filling works are being conducted. The Yerevan municipality has implemented notable works towards fortification of third degree emergency buildings. 5 buildings were intended to be strengthened during the current year, 3 of which have already been finished. Strengthening works of the remaining two buildings are in process. On the whole 73 third degree emergency buildings are registered in Yerevan which have been studied by the Yerevan municipality. During the current year the municipality also intended to construct a bridge on the cross road of the new Saralanj highway and Papazian street to make the passenger pathway more secure. The project-calculation documents in that direction are ready and the works will start as soon as the issue of financing is settled.
