THREE PROMINENT ARMENIAN ART FIGURES TO OPEN THE THIRD “RETURN” CLASSICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:The third “Return” classical music festival will be opened by 3 prominent Armenian art figures living abroad on September 22 in Yerevan Chamber Music Hall after Komitas. The festival is conducted on the initiative of the “Gallery of Arts” cultural fund, under the patronage of RA First Lady Rita Sargsyan and with the support of “VivaCell-MTS” company. Singer Juliet Galstyan (Switzerland), clavecin player Michael Balyan (Germany) and conductor Aram Talalyan (Yerevan) jointly with “Barock” orchestra going to present a selection of European classical music, today answered to journalists’ questions together with the directorate of the festival in the press center of “Novosti Armenia”. Chairman of the cultural fund Mariam Shahinyan and Director Garik Nazaryan presented the festival noting that it is a call addressed to the all world spread Armenians. Besides being an extensive cultural event the festival is also an effort to draw the attention of all the Armenians around the world to the issue of repatriation, to the realization of the dream of many generations of living, creating and supporting at homeland. The musicians present at the meeting told about their participation in the festival, about their achievements registered abroad in the latest period, about their upcoming plans, as well as expressed gratitude for the attention devoted to them by the native cultural organizations, promised to give a good concert and answered to the questions concerning the journalists. The festival will be concluded on October 24 with “Viva, Barocco” symphonic concert in the Concert Hall after Aram Khachatryan.
