YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:“We worked honestly, tried to honestly implement our work. We have not put an issue in front of us to satisfy the wish of this or that political force. We tried to give unbiased report. The public will give an assessment,” member of Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan said today at parliamentary briefing, referring to the report on March 1. Being a member of the commission Zohrabyan tied the noise over the report with attempts of this or that political force to divert attention of public from its own inner issues. “We have not given answer only to the question on whose activities caused the death of people but it is not the authorities of the parliament,” she said expressing hope, that when emotions calm down, when public and political forces will more soberly assess the situation they will find in the report clear answers to many questions. Secretary of the Prosperous Armenia faction Aram Safaryan said he is sure that the report of the commission is an objective source, comprehensive and extended and must be printed and spread among the public. Head of the “Heritage” party’s administration Armen Martirosyan noted that the faction will put in the circulation a draft decision suggesting to create a new commission which will have new opportunity and delegated authority to investigate. Member of the “Orinats Yerkir” faction Hovhannes Margaryan described the report as a very important document, noting that the commission finished its work but the process continues by the law enforcers. Head of the ARF faction Vahan Hovhannisyan once again noted that ARF has attached a special opinion to the report and though it is a balanced document it cannot satisfy the interests of all the sides. Head of the Republican Party’s faction Galust Sahakyan noted that the press diverted the attention of the public on the circumstance as if the commission had authorities of investigating and revealing, but it is not so, the commission had other authorities.
