“ARMFEST” INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL TO KICK OFF OCTOBER 1

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:“Armfest” 7th international executive art festival will kick off October 1 in Yerevan. Coordinator of the festival Shoghakat Mlke-Galstyan told Armenpress that 33 theatrical groups from 22 countries will participate in the festival, among which are Bulgarian “Credo”, Swiss “Trickster Theatre”, “Artishok” from Kazakhstan which is known with its open-air performances with the participation of the audience as well. In the sidelines of the festival master classes and workshops will be conducted and discussions will be held over new theatrical directions and ways of expression. Like during the previous year this `time` as well international Children and Puppet theatres program and “Armfest” Armenian international students and youth program will be held. The main goal of the “Armfest” festival is to present global culture in Armenia and promote development of theatrical art. The festival was established in 2003.
