ALL FOUR ARMENIAN WEIGHTLIFTERS WIN MEDALS IN COLUMBIAN KALI

YEREVAN, JUNE 23, ARMENPRESS:Armenian weightlifter Ruben Alexanian, over 105 kg, won the silver medal of the world youth championship in Columbia’s city of Kali. His combined result was 412 kg. The first in this weight category was Yevgeny Pisarev of Russia with combined 426 kg result. Another Armenian weightlifter, Sevak Sahakian, 105 kg, won the bronze medal with 376 kg combined result. The first was Mohammad Abdel Rahman of Egypt with 381 kg. All four Armenians participating in this championship won medals. Arakel Mirzoyan, 69 kg and Aram Andikian, 85 kg, won silver and bronze medals respectively.
