FIRST EUROVISION SEMI-FINAL WINNERS KNOWN

YEREVAN, MAY 21, ARMENPRESS:The first semi-final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest was over on May 21 in Belgrade, Serbia and 10 countries going to the final were announced. Going forward to the Eurovision 2008 final are the following 10 countries, arranged by order of admission: Greece, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Russia, Israel, Armenia, Poland and Norway. Montenegro, Estonia, Moldova, San Marino, Belgium, Slovenia, Andorra, the Netherlands and Ireland failed to do so. The second semi-final will be on May 22 for Belarus, Iceland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Lithuania, Albania, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Georgia, Hungary, Malta, Cyprus, Macedonia and Portugal. Germany, Spain, France and Great Britain as founders of Eurovision and last year’s winner Serbia are in the final.
