TWO DIRECTORS TO PRODUCE FILM ABOUT FAMOUS ARMENIAN ACTOR

YEREVAN, MAY 9, ARMENPRESS:Two Armenian film directors, Gurgen Gadachik and Armen Vatian will make a documentary about famous Armenian theater and cinema actor Vladimir Msryan. Speaking at a news conference today Gurgen Gadachik said the film will feature the actor’s life and his works. He said the film will present excerpts from theater plays and films in which the actors plays and also celebration of Msryan’s 70-th birth anniversary in Russian Saint Petersburg last April 28. Vladimir Msryan said this documentary will give audience an opportunity to see what he has done, and to evaluate his activity. He said his last role was in a 30 minute short film made by Gadachik and a young director. The film is called Anna Karenina. He said the film was shown at Venice film festival and won the praise of the audience. “Nevertheless, my main occupation is theater. I live by it and by characters I play,” he said. He said his 70-th anniversary will be marked in Yerevan in September and a book about him will be released.
