ARMENIAN CHESS PLAYERS LEAVE FOR DRESDEN

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS:Armenian men and women teams left today for Dresden where they will participate in the 44th World Olympiad which will take place November 12- 25. The coach of the Armenian men team is Arshak Petrosian, the team includes 5 chess players – grand masters Levon Aronian, Vladimir Hakobian, Gabriel Sargsyan, Tigran Petrosian, Artashes Minasian. The coach of the Armenian women team is grand master Arsen Yeghiazarian. The team consists of grand masters Elina Danielian, Lilit Mkrtchian, Nelly Aghinian, Lilit Galoyan and international master Siranush Andreasian. Grand Master Levon Aronian said they have prepared well for the Olympiad and the Armenian team, according to him, must defend its title of the champion.
