LEVON ARONIAN NINTH BEST CHESS PLAYER IN WORLD

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS:Levon Aronian is ranked by Armenian Chess Federation as number 1 player with 2,741 points. He is followed by Vladimir Hakobian who scored 2,713 points, the third is Gabriel Sarkisian-2,673 points. Smbat Lputian is fourth, Karen Asryan is fifth. With a 2,741 score Aronian is also ranked by FIDE as number 9 in the list of best world chess players, which is topped by India’s Vishvanatan Anand.
