90 PERCENT OF ROADS IN VAYOTS DZOR OPEN FOR TRAFFIC

YEGHEGNADZOR, JANUARY 7, ARMENPRESS:In spite of the heavy snow which fell yesterday, the Vayots Dzor sector of Yerevan-Yeraskh-Meghri-Iranian border highway of inter-state importance is open for traffic. Besides, 90 percent of inter-community roads are also passable. Khachik Aslanian, the head of the transport and road construction department at the Vayots Dzor governor’s office, told Armenpress that at present works are being carried out for cleaning other roads of inter-state importance and Getap-Martuni-Sevan highway. According to Aslanian, the Vayots Dzor sector of Selim mountain pass will be open by the end of the day. He said tomorrow all the roads of the province will be open for traffic.
