NEW FRENCH AMBASSADOR SAYS FRENCH IS READY TO WORK ACTIVELY IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:Armenian Trade and Economic Development Minister Karen Tshmaritian received today newly appointed French ambassador to Armenia Serzh Smesov. Ministry press service told Armenpress that the minister congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment and expressed hope that cooperation between France and Armenia will deepen even more thanks to the effective work of the new ambassador. During the meeting Tshmaritian presented to the ambassador the current state of the Armenian economy and prospects for development. Referring to the visit of the delegation of the minister to France within the framework of the events dedicated to the Year of Armenia in France Tshmaritian said that during the meetings they discussed wide range of issues including France’s support in establishing school of tourism in Armenia. The ambassador on his turn noted about the readiness of France to carry out active work in Armenia.
