ARMENIAN LUSINE SAHAKIAN TO PARTICIPATE IN “MISS GLOBEINTERNATIONAL 2007” CONTEST OF MODELS

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:Armenian 22-year old Lusine Sahakian has been ranked among the best 30 models at the “Miss Model 2006” international contest conducted on December 8 in Hong Kong. Ashot Khachatrian, director of “Miss Model World” international agency, told Armenpress that around 57 girls from different countries including France, USA, Australia, Singapore, Russia, Turkey, Greece participated in the contest. He said the Armenian girl presented herself in the Armenian national dress called “taraz” which was made of three colors – red, blue and orange symbolizing Armenian flag. After the contest with the best 7 participants, including Lusine Sahakian, a number of agreements have been signed with the organizers of the contest on participating in such like contests. Next year Lusine Sahakian is going to participate in “Miss Globe International” contest. In 2003 L. Sahakian participated in “Miss Tourism 2003”, and in the same year she got the title of “Vice Miss Armenia 2003”. The first place at the contest in Hong Kong was granted to Chinese girl, the second place took model from Hong Kong and the third one model from Macedonia.
