1 minute read

TBILISI, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:An organization in Georgia uniting ethnic Georgian refugees from its breakaway region of Abkhazia slammed a leading Georgian TV station-Rustavi- 2- for sending a crew to report about the December 10 constitutional referendum in Nagorno-Karabakh. The organization called Abkhazeti, argued that Nagorno-Karabakh is not recognized either by Georgia or other countries. It demanded that the TV station explain whether it had reconciled the dispatch of the crew to the unrecognized republic with officials in Baku, Azerbaijan. The statement, issued by the organization, says the most regretful thing is that this crew was sent to the separatist republic that has split from Azerbaijan, Georgia’s strategic ally.
