ARMENIA RECEIVES NATURAL GAS THROUGH RESERVE PIPELINE

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS:Officials from Russian-Armenian HayRusGazArd natural gas operator said Georgian counterparts had to start shipping Russian natural gas to Armenia through a reserve pipeline after the main pipeline was affected by a breakage. The problem occurred on Georgian territory on December 17 at 10.30 pm and is expected to be eliminated today evening. Now Armenia is receiving 50,000 cubic meters of natural gas an hour through the reserve pipeline and also gas from the underground storage in Abovyan.
