SIX PEOPLE DIE OF POISONOUS MUSHROOMS

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS:Armenian health ministry said six people have died this year from eating poisonous mushrooms. It said overall twenty-five cases of mushroom poisoning have been reported. Armenian health ministry has called on people to avoid buying mushroom from street vendors. Marietta Basilisian from the health ministry said last year only 1 man died of mushroom. She said the majority of cases involve people who gather mushroom in the country without being sure whether they are edible or not.
