KAPAN, JANUARY 23, ARMENPRESS:A regional election commission in the province of Syunik refused to recognize valid the results of a community head election at Dovrus community. Community head elections were held in 55 communities of the province January 12. Results of the elections were approved in 54 communities. The commission said a chain of irregularities and violations were reported during both the preparation and the vote in Dovrus which affected its final results. Particularly, the acting community head registered 7 people in the village without proper documentation and included their names in the voter list. The commission decided that the repeat election should take place February 2.
