LITTLE SINGERS OF ARMENIA TOUR IN USA

PROVIDENCE, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS:A celebrated children°s choir from Armenia, called the Little Singers of Armenia, performed last week, July 27 in the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence, Rhode Island. The 40-member group of gifted children, aging 12-17, has won many international youth choir competitions. It is under the direction of Tigran Hekekyan, the cultural ambassador of the European Federation of Youth Choirs. The concert in Providence featured a variety of musical genres, including folk, classical and contemporary, and the children will sing in several languages: English, Chinese, French and Russian, among others.
