ARMENIAN GENOCIDE ANNIVERSARY MARKED IN KRASNODAR

KRASNODAR, APRIL 25, ARMENPRESS:About 3,000 people gathered on April 24 at the square near Armenian church in Krasnodar dedicated to the 87th Anniversary of Armenia genocide. During the ceremony the Deputy Chairman of Russian Armenians° Union German Ananian, leader of South Diocese of Russia Archbishop Movses Movsisian, the representatives of authorities of city of Krasnodar and Krasnodar region delivered speeches, particularly stating the aggravation of inter-ethnic situation in Kuban and stressing that "some want very much to embroil Armenians and Russians". Despite the reached agreements between Union of Russian Armenians and Kuban authorities, the leaders of Krasnodar region did not participate in the gathering. This aroused displeasure of the ceremony°s participants, which was stated by a number of speakers.-0-/45/
