RAMKAVAR AZATAKAN REITERATES ITS SUPPORT TO KOCHARIAN

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS:Chairman of the Armenian Ramkavar Azatakan (Democratic Liberal) party Ruben Mirzakhanian argued on Tuesday that nomination of ex-president Levon Ter-Petrosian as a candidate for 2003 presidential polls would only strengthen the positions of the incumbent president Kocharian. Ramkavar Azatakan was the first party (it is not represented in parliament) to give a full backing to Kocharian°s intention to run for re-election earlier this year. Mirzakhanian went on to say that the Armenian electorate is prudent enough to make the right choice.
