ENVIRONMENT MINISTER SEEKS SUPPORT OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS

YEREVAN, AUGUST 15, ARMENPRESS:The newly appointed environment minister Vartan Ayvazian called on Armenian non-governmental organization to bring their contribution to nature protection issues. Meeting today with representatives of nearly 80 nature protection public organizations the minister said the information collected by the ministry is open to all of them. Ayvazian said a scientific-technical council set up alongside with the ministry is filled with most prominent experts in the area of nature protection which is supposed to examine all relevant suggestions and proposals.
