Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is delivering a talk at the Global Armenian Summit 2026, presenting the ideology of Real Armenia.

During the talk, Pashinyan stressed that the ideology of Real Armenia is about the state.

“The ideology of Real Armenia is about the state being the most important thing we can have as a people. Nothing is more important than the state, and all our efforts, actions, goals and ideas are, and must be, connected to the state, to the Republic of Armenia, its interests and the vision of its enduring existence. What does a vision of the state’s enduring existence mean? It means that we must develop the state and make it an instrument of security, prosperity and freedom for its citizens, and pass that instrument down from generation to generation. The Republic of Armenia, as a state, must exist forever. This is the vision of the state’s enduring existence,” the prime minister explained.

Pashinyan addressed criticism that the ideology of Real Armenia aims to distort the Armenian people’s identity.

“We not only disagree with that characterisation; on the contrary, we are convinced that the ideology of Real Armenia is precisely about protecting, preserving and developing our identity. As I have already said, the ideology of Real Armenia is about the state, and the state is, in fact, about our identity,” Pashinyan said.
